Strategy and outlook
Since the launch of its first leasing company in 1990, Hypo Group Alpe Adria Leasing has successfully pursued a policy of controlled growth in the Alps-Adriatic region and has thus assumed a pioneering role in the dynamically developing south-eastern European region. The new record year 2006 offered the Hypo Leasing Group confirmation of the probity of its decisions. For the management of the Hypo Alpe-Adria-Leasing Holding AG founded in 2003 and all national subsidiaries, the continuance of this approach constitutes a basis for successful and sustained growth in the future. It is frequently the case that the Hypo Group Alpe Adria Leasing is not only regarded as a pioneer in its markets, but also as a source of new product and service benchmarks. This innovative reputation will continue to be the object of targeted efforts in the future. The planned linkage of all the locations within the network via a new IT platform should secure the more efficient use of synergy effects during the preparation of offers, as well as more effective customer management and uniform reporting.
Following dynamic expansion with phased entry into a total of eleven national markets in the Alps-Adriatic region, in future Hypo Group Alpe Adria Leasing is to focus mainly on the tightening up of its existing sales network, in order to achieve blanket coverage in the various countries involved and to exploit the potential generated by national growth. This will involve the opening of new branches, above all in conurbations with their higher earnings potential, and increased efforts with regard to the direct sales path. In addition, expansion in additional European locations is also under consideration and in 2007, the potential offered by Macedonia should be opened up by the subsidiary launched at the end of 2006. Interesting markets for selected special segments are also available in the Ukraine, where market entry is planned for 2007.
